In Miami, the Deverian family displayed this extremely rare Sultan's complete saddle set that had been made in the 1880s in Motasham Kashan. This Museum Quality piece has been in the Deverian family for over 100 years. The saddle set consists of a large blanket, which went next to the horse's hide, a smaller piece to cover the saddle, and two even smaller pieces to cover the stirrups with silk roses. The set portrays a Persian hunter's paradise with hounds, deer, antelope and the King of Beasts. Obviously woven for an elegant Prince of Persia who shared his elegant life with his much beloved horse. They asked $25,000 for it.
